The Silver Collection
At Charms Of Light®, we use two types of silver to create our beautiful healing jewellery:
Ecosilver
Ecosilver is our eco-friendly alternative to sterling silver, made from 100% recycled silver. It’s ideal for general components, wire wraps, and crochet work. Ecosilver works just like traditional silver, giving you the same high-quality results while being kind to the environment.
.925 Sterling Silver
I also use .925 sterling silver for components, accents, and wire wraps when Ecosilver isn’t suitable.
Care for Silver:
Silver naturally tarnishes over time, developing a darker appearance. To keep your pieces shiny, gently polish them with a jewellery cloth or use a standard silver polish.

The Copper Collection
Our copper jewellery is crafted from 100% pure copper, perfect for components, accents, and wire-wrap or crochet designs.
Care for Copper:
Over time, copper develops a distinctive patina — a natural, beautiful characteristic of the metal, not a defect. If you prefer a polished finish, copper can be cleaned using standard copper polish.

The Gold Collection
At Charms Of Light®, we feature two types of gold in our healing jewellery:
9ct Gold
This type contains 37.5% pure gold and is used for general components and accents, giving a luxurious, warm tone to your jewellery.
14ct Gold Fill (Gold-Filled)
Also known as Gold Filled, 14ct Gold Fill is made by bonding a layer of 14-carat gold to a base metal core (usually brass or copper) using heat and pressure. For a piece to be legally called Gold Filled, the gold layer must equal at least 1/20th of the total weight of the jewellery. This is often written as 14/20 G.F. — 14ct for the gold layer, 20 indicating the gold’s proportion by weight to the base metal.
Gold Fill offers the beautiful appearance and durability of solid gold at a more affordable price. It’s ideal for components and accents in healing jewellery, providing a luxurious yet accessible option for your personal collection.
